This page section explains how to request deletion of your CHKITS account and the data associated with it.

HOW TO REQUEST DELETION

Send an email to info@chkits.com with:

  • Subject line: Data Deletion Request – Sent from the email address associated with your CHKITS account

We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request. Your account and associated personal data will be deleted within thirty (30) days of verification, and we will confirm by email once deletion is complete.

WHAT IS DELETED

  • Your account credentials (email address and authentication record)
  • Equipment inspection records you created (checklist results, equipment details, inspector names, comments)
  • Photos you attached to inspections – Inspection reports and documents stored in your account

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

WHAT MAY BE RETAINED, AND FOR HOW LONG

Some information may be retained after account deletion where we are required or permitted to do so by applicable law — for example, records necessary for legal, regulatory, tax, security, fraud-prevention, or workplace-safety record-keeping purposes. Where such retention applies, we will inform you of the categories of data retained and the reason. Retained records are kept only as long as the applicable obligation requires and are then deleted or anonymized.

If your account is part of a team or employer deployment, inspection records that your organization is required to keep for workplace-safety compliance may be retained by the organization; contact your administrator for details.
